Methodology
How Archer Score Index handles data
Archer Score Index is an independent statistics project built from official published event books and result documents. It is not affiliated with World Archery or IANSEO.
Archer Score does not replace official results. It is a reference layer built on top of official published source material.
Source policy
- Built from official published event books, scorecards, brackets, final rankings, and related result documents where available.
- Source files are inspected and classified by role before derived ratings are shown.
- If data is missing or insufficient, affected stats are shown as N/A rather than guessed.
- Outdoor and Indoor are separate scoring environments.
- Recurve and Compound are separate divisions and scoring environments.
Public data rules
- Never invent, infer, or hallucinate missing scorecard data.
- If a source page is incomplete, blank, abnormal, corrupted, mislabeled, or not safely parseable, affected stats stay N/A or source-incomplete.
- Verified base stats are preserved where possible.
- Pressure ratings are only published when the verified sample is strong enough to support them.
Stat definitions
- Score: Average or aggregate scoring performance from verified official score data.
- Center Rate: How often an archer reaches the highest-value center scoring zones available in the verified source data.
- Steadiness: Consistency and low-collapse profile derived only when enough verified arrow or round detail is available.
- PSR — Pure Shooter Rating: A shooting-performance rating focused on verified scoring strength independent of narrative or popularity.
- CSR — Clutch Shooter Rating: A match and elimination pressure rating calculated only when sufficient verified match sample exists.
- Bracket Gain: How much an archer outperforms or underperforms bracket or seeding expectation where bracket data is available.
- Archer Score: A composite advanced rating built from the available verified components for that lane.
- Roll10: A long-window form view built from trailing verified seasons instead of one hot event or one hot year.
- Honors: Archer Score’s compiled leaderboards and archive awards built from verified event and season data.
What Archer Score is and is not
Archer Score Index is a fan-friendly advanced-statistics layer. It is not an official results service, a governing body ranking, or a replacement for the original event record.
